Barrett Engineered Pumps offers a custom-made line of irrigation booster pumps

The majority of our municipal water and waste systems were built many decades ago when our population density was much lower. As our communities grew – but the size of our water systems did not – this resulted in a substantial decrease in the overall water pressure going to families, businesses and municipalities. Home users most likely did not feel this shift, but larger users certainly felt the effects.

To respond to the need for increased water pressure at these public facilities, Barrett Engineered Pumps created custom-designed and built IRRIBOOST® irrigation systems. These packaged simplex water booster systems are designed for applications such as parks, recreational areas, ballfields, commercial buffer zones… anywhere the existing water pressure is insufficient to operate the irrigation system.
